Crown Heights is home to hundreds of baalei teshuvah attracted to Torah and Lubavitch over the decades, many with considerable professional and educational backgrounds. One of these is Reb Boruch (formerly Bruce) hakohein Hoffinger, a Frankel Shul mainstay for years—and one of Kan Tziva’s best-kept artistic secrets. Boruch is an art graduate of the prestigious, elite Cooper Union school.
Several months ago, Boruch brought a Giclée Archival Print of one of his original paintings to shul for the chevra to look at—and recently, Shmais.com asked Boruch to bring it back for an encore.
