Phones ringing off the hook @ the Tennenhaus home
5:07:PM Friday, Mar 02, 2007

For Shmully Tennenhaus first it was a blurb in the Atlanta Journal Constitution, then a mention on SHMAIS.com, then an article on Canada.com that was quickly followed by a NBC interview but the icing on the cake came in the form of a front page article in the business section of the infamous NY TIMES.

Now, sources tell SHMAIS.com that the phone is ringing off the hook @ the Tennenhaus home in Hallandale, Florida. “I’ve never gotten some many calls from Shadchanim in my entire life. I think I’ll need to install a new phone line” said an elated Rabbi Tennenhaus. “I mean, right now I can have Shmully’s wedding anywhere from Persia to Palm Harbor. It will take me months to consider all the offers we currently have on the table.”

For his part, Shmully declined to respond to an interview from Shmais saying “you were irrelevant and worthless long before I came famous.”

As we were going to press, reports were coming in that the Kfar Chabad planned to put Shmully on the cover of the next issue with the headline “Lubavitchs’ most eligible?”
