Every Friday, there is a Kabbalas Shabbos celebration at the Senior Citizens’ Home in Ramat Hasharon, which is organized by the local Chabad House, which is run by shliach Rabbi Yehudah Butman and the home’s staff.

Last Friday, at a special ceremony, wheelchairs were donated to the center by Chabad so that visitors to the center at weekends will find their stay to be much easier. Also present was Rabbi Aharon Pruss of the Chabad Youth Organization, who presented the wheelchairs to the center.

These were some of the 300 wheelchairs donated to Chabad by a bar mitzvah boy from Los Angeles, who decided that his bar mitzvah was an appropriate time to donate wheelchairs to the disabled in Israel via the Chabad Youth Organization.
