The Chasam Sofer was careful to note that in the blessings of the New Month we say: "He will redeem us speedily."

Speed is the main emphasis of our prayers.

Concerning the Redemption itself our prayers are not needed, for the Redemption has been promised to us by G-d.(Customs of the Chasam Sofer)

From three exiles the Jewish people were redeemed in the merit of the Patriarchs, but redemption from the fourth will be in the merit of Moshe.

Thus, we will be redeemed in the merit of the Torah that he gave us.

At the conclusion of the final exile, the sea of Torah will split and all the wonders in Torah will be revealed. For by virtue of Torah study we will merit complete redemption speedily in our days.(The Vilna Gaon)
